Ruth Fields is an artist who has her exhibited paintings and drawings at numerous museums, including the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, The Rose Art Museum, The Berkshire Museum and the Boston Center for the Arts. In addition, her work has been shown in New York, Chicago and other venues in the United States.  

In 1999, Ms. Fields received the 247th Clarissa Bartlett Traveling Scholarship from the School of the Museum of Fine Arts. She has also been awarded fellowships to the MacDowell Colony and the Virginia Center for the Creative Arts.  

Fields received her BFA and MFA degrees from the Tufts University/School of the Museum of Fine Arts Program.
